About Us
Founder

One For All was founded in 2003 by heath care professional and community activist, Ms. Mari Morales. Ms. Morales has served as a Neighborhood Watch Coordinator, City of Inglewood Block Captain and City of Inglewood Library Commissioner. Through these positions, Ms. Morales has been able to make an significant impact on the front lines of the effort to empower the youth of Los Angeles County. In addition, she has led volunteers in street sweeping & graffiti removal efforts as well as food & toy drives for those in need. In short, Ms. Morales has demonstrated a staunch dedication to the empowerment not only of youth, but the community as a whole.
Ms. Morales immigrated to the United States from El Salvador in 1975 and is proud to have supported her three children through graduation from Inglewood High School on to a college education. Her children attend and support every event that OFA sponsors.
Through the years, Ms. Morales has been acknowledged for her community involvement by several dignitaries. She has received community service awards from Senator Curren D. Price, Jr., Senator Jerome Horton, Senator Roderick Wright, Inglewood Mayor Roosevelt Dorn, Inglewood Police Chief Jacqueline Seabrooks, and has been named one of 51 SHEROES of Los Angeles County.
Improving her community is nothing new to Ms. Morales. Her father was a popular Mayor and Member of Congress in El Salvador. He was known as an activist for the poor and was directly involved in sweeping programs designed to provide a better life for the underserved. Ms. Morales proudly mentions that five years ago, long after his death, the President of El Salvador awarded her father with a posthumous lifetime achievement award. Perhaps it is from him that she gets her drive to empower youth and transform society.
